The Free Software / Open Source Software Community is a volunteer-based community that aims to promote Free Software / Open Source Software and Open Technologies in Cyprus.

The goals of our community are:

The dissemination, promotion, and advancement of Free and Open Technologies.

Research activity related to Free and Open Technologies, both independently and in collaboration with other bodies or legal entities, in fields connected to Free and Open Technologies.

Raising awareness and informing state or private organisations, as well as any interested parties, about Free and Open Technologies and related issues, such as open standards, digital rights, privacy protection, and other information technology topics.

Strengthening the bonds and relationships among users who are interested in Free and Open Technologies.

Organising various activities to inform members and the public more broadly on matters related to Free and Open Technologies.

Collaborating with related Cypriot and international associations connected to Free and Open Technologies.
