A few words about the NGI0 Commons Fund<\/strong>
A few words about the NGI0 Commons Fund
The NGI0 Commons Fund is an initiative under the European Commission’s Next Generation Internet program, aimed at supporting the development of digital “commons”: i.e. free and open software\/hardware, open standards, data, science, and educational resources.
\u2013 It offers R&D grants ranging from \u20ac5,000 to \u20ac50,000 for initiatives that are consistent with the public nature of the internet.
\u2013 In total, it has an active budget of \u20ac21.6 million, with an estimated allocation until 2027.
\u2013 Grants are accompanied by support services, such as security audits, open licensing, accessibility, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
