We invite you to the assembly of our community, which will take place at the Choirokoitia Community Council on Saturday, 29 November at 16:00.
The ELLAK Cyprus Community warmly welcomes all members, open-source developers, technical teams, as well as active citizens and educators who are interested in open technology, transparency, and digital rights.
The assembly aims to bring together:
– those who develop, use, or support Free/Libre Open Source Software,
– those interested in digital self-determination, interoperability, and public digital infrastructures,
– those concerned about the direction of technology in Cyprus and who wish to contribute to positive solutions based on open standards.
During the meeting we will:
– present the current initiatives of ELLAK,
– discuss technical and policy issues affecting our community,
– plan new initiatives to promote open technologies in government, education, and society,
– encourage collaborations between developers, citizens, and organisations,
– strengthen the FLOSS network in Cyprus.
The assembly is open and welcoming to people without a technical background who wish to support open, public, and non-exploitative technologies.
